Time to Baby Proof!
Freddy LOVES his walker. He now wants no part of sitting still and is ALL over the place. After he tried eating the cord to his monitor - I had to put it high up out of his reach...here he is trying to get it down again! He gave up after a good fight!
Needless to say....let the Freddy-proofing begin!

Growing up fast!
So a lot has happened since our trip to Florida! Big Daddy Fred took advantage of my being sick to send me to the extra bedroom to sleep for 3 nights, during which time he would get Freddy to sleep through the night. He advised me to drink A LOT of NyQuil and, without my knowing, he stuffed the bottoms of the doors with towels....so I could not hear Freddy cry. By the time I returned to our bedroom on Monday night...little Freddy awoke only briefly for 2 minutes (during which Fred held me down and would not let me "save" my little love) and...you know what...Freddy fell right back asleep. The following night....nothing! I give all the credit to Dad here since my one attempt at letting Freddy cry it out was quite pathetic but extremely entertaining for Fred who ended up consoling not only the baby, but his wife : (
Freddy is also reaching for us now and jumps up and down like a mad man when he is excited. His eagerness to be mobile scares the crap out of me! He wants to see and grap and hit and throw everything! When he wakes up in the morning he knows we are in the bed next to his crib so he pushes up and reeealllly stretches his neck to try and see us and then he starts making the "YO, get over here" noises! He has started to "help" me feed him and appears very proud of himself when the food actually ends up in his mouth!
All in all, things are good. Freddy is a true blessing and we are loving him, loving each other and loving life!
Stay tuned for some funny video clips when I finally upload them!
